Be careful before adopting low calorie food

However, the weight-loss industry is gaining importance for this reason. It is providing low calorie diet plans for people. This industry is booming at present as everybody is running after it. But the bad news is that it is only momentary. It does not have a long-term effect.

A human being puts himself into a starvation mode the moment he starts taking a low calorie diet. He might end up losing weight very easily and very fast, but he is totally unaware of the fact that it is making him lose his muscle mass, which will affect his metabolism power negatively.

But there is no need to worry about it. You can easily get back your metabolism power and your muscle mass. Just the first step is to immediately stop the low calorie diet. Do not ever go for it even if it is very tempting. These low calorie diets do not take into account the various things like health history, genetics, age and all. These things influence the metabolism power. They only aim at decrease your weight and in the process make you lose a lot of important things.

The actual fact is that these very low calorie diets (1,000 – 1200 calories or less) are ultimately make the person gain weight rather than lose weight. Many people feel they have to go on an extremely low calorie diet because this is the only way their weight will budge. Well…in a way they are actually right.

You can go for a rotational nutrient diet to get rid of this problem. A calorie-based rotational diet is generally a low calorie diet too. But through it the calorie intake is different at different times of the day. Thus your body gets balanced and required nutrients. By doing this, your body is getting the required calorie, but is not reducing the calorie-burning rate. Instead, our body will increase the rate of burning due to the signals. This will help you to lose weight in a regular balanced manner instead of suddenly losing it, which is very harmful for health overall.

You can learn how many calories you burn by getting your metabolism tested with a breathing test. These tests are now made affordable and can be done at a very cheap rate.

Thus, instead of adopting a low calorie diets that might harm your health instead of helping you to grow properly, it is better to adopt a proper diet chart by consulting a dietitian who will be able to help you out. Do not go for whatever is out in the market. They might be only for a short term, not for a long term.
