A cursor is important while you use your device and mouse. They help in indicating the location on the screen. But there are situations when you will find the cursor is blinking irregularly or it plunges into non stop flickering. However, you may change the blinking rate by simply clicking on the start menu and then typing keyboard in the search box. When the keyboard menu opens, you need to change the rate of blinks by clicking on rate slider. End the process by clicking on “OK”.
4. The continuous flickering of the cursor may also result due to the irregular functioning of the mouse. If the mouse is not installed properly, try to reinstall the same and update the mouse by going through some of the online computer services that will upgrade the mouse. Make sure that the mouse you are using is compatible with the device that you are using.
If the mouse that you are using is a wireless mouse and try to fix the mouse by changing the battery. If all the above steps don’t click, you might have to change the mouse.
5. The cursor may start flickering after you installed or attached a new hardware with your device. This means that the mouse is not compatible with the hardware or the software that has been installed with in the system. Disconnect the new installation to make sure that the cursor no more blinks. You need to see through the compatibility of the operating system and the software or the hardware that you are trying to install. If the problem is with hardware, you need to consult the manufacturer’s website or call for the online computer repair professionals for help.
