Do you slog over cleaning your kitchen? Don’t you wish you could use a few tips to help you with cleaning, washing and even taking care of your kitchen ware and yourself. Here are some tips that helped me a lot.

- Don’t you hate it when we have to throw something we got and forgot to use it? But now don’t throw gram flour that has not been used for a long time, gram flour can be used as a detergent to wash utensils. They not only help clean but also keep’s your hands soft.
- Clogged drain? No worries, to unclog a drain pour down a mixture of 1 cup vinegar and ¼ cup soda bicarbonate. Leave it for an hour and wash it with a lot of water. It will remove the dirt by chemical reaction and no hard work or slogging for hours over it.
- Pressure cooker is the most used still in most houses in India. And those who use it know how difficult it is to keep it clean and shiny from the inside. Now forget the soaking in hot water or all the scraping. Just try putting half a lemon, used will work just fine. Place the lemon in the water before placing the separator pans.
- We all have to do all or at least some of the household chores. And we all know what the detergents do to our hands. Here is a very easy and effective tip. Just mix yoghurt with a few drops of lemon juice and just rub it on your hand massaging for about 10-15 minutes.
- Fungus? The very thought is scary, and even more so when it is on your favorite pair of leather boots or your leather purse. Don’t panic, here is something you can do to get rid of it. Just clean it with a dry cloth and put it in the sun for about half an hour. After it has soaked the sun apply Vaseline petroleum gel, leave it for a few minutes and then just wipe it off. And you are ready to party and kick off those boots.
- Rough hair? Worry not. Here is something to help you. Just blend aloe vera pulp and apply it on your hair and leave it on for 20 minutes and then shampoo your hair. Leaves your hair soft and shiny.
- Tired eyes due to working late or puffiness due to lack of sleep or even worse dark circles. Try either blending or just chopping some parsley and freeze it with water in a ice cube tray. Gently rub the cubes over the eyes. It not only removes puffiness but also leaves you feeling refreshed and relaxed.
