After selling over 3.3 lakh units of full size sedan Swift Dzire in the Indian auto market, now MSIL has developed this compact version which will officially be launched in 1st February, 2012.
Maruti Swift Dzire CS will be available in both petrol and diesel models which have re-freshed hearts under the hood. Maruti Swift Dzire CS petrol version has three variants like LXi, VXi and the top-end Zxi. On the other hand, Maruti Swift Dzire CS diesel model will also be available in three variants like LDi, VDi and the high-end ZDi. Maruti Swift Dzire CS Price all these variants is expected between Rs. 4.95 lakh to Rs. 7.30 lakh at ex-showroom Delhi. With this price range, it will be giving tough competition to Toyota Etios, Mahindra Verito, Hyundai Accent and Chevrolet Aveo.

Maruti Swift Dzire CS petrol version has the popular and BSIV norms compliant, re-freshed K series, 1.2 litre, 1197 cc petrol mill under the hood that makes maximum power of 86 bhp at 6000 rpm and belts peak torque of 114 Nm at 4000 rpm. It will be available in both a five speed manual and a four speed automatic transmission gearbox option. Maruti Swift Dzire CS mileage for petrol model is claimed 19.1 kmpl by ARAI.
