Google’s Dominance As The #1 Search Engine Could Soon End

Internet research company Experian Hitwise recently published a report revealing the Search Engine market share for the month of March 2011.

Shockingly it concluded that Google accounted for only 64.42% of all US Searches with Bing grabbing a very impressive 30.01% market share.

With the recent merger of Yahoo and MSN into Bing combined with the fact all Windows machines come preloaded with Bing as their default browser, all indications are that Bing could well topple Google as the #1 search engine in the next 12 to 24 months.

This information presents potentially the greatest opportunity to businesses in the last 10 years.

Why?

Because virtually all SEO companies have focused 100% of their attention on dominating the mighty Google – and rightly so, Google has accounted for the vast majority of searches in the past 10 years.

But now, those awake to the shift in power have the opportunity to position themselves with Bing while the crowd is still asleep.

Start optimising for Bing.

Bing’s local listings are sparse and competition is thin as the majority focus on Google Places. Bing’s Pay Per Click is considerably cheaper than Google, comes with far fewer restrictions and has the highest conversion rates on the web.

At present Bing offers a substantial opportunity. In future they will dominate.

Those who thrive see where the trend is heading and arrive there before the crowd. This is your opportunity to own the best virtual real estate of tomorrow at a fraction of the price.
