On my LEGO Adventures I came across the New LEGO City sets and I got to say I'm amazed at how detailed they are. After taking a look at the LEGO Airport and Coast Guard Sets, I just knew I had to get them. The LEGO Airport is awesome; it even has a control tower with security check points. The LEGO Airport comes with the Airport itself and airplane that has revolving doors, so passengers can load up. You can also get the Tank truck and repair truck to add to the addition of your airport. I really had a lot of fun with the LEGO Airport. I did notice that LEGO has a Sea Plane and now a Passenger plane but can be hard to find. I've heard that the LEGO Airport is getting hard to find since it's almost a collectors addition. I could see why these sets are becoming hard to get, since it's not hard to build and not too terribly expensive.
If you can get your hands on the LEGO City Coast Guard set, you won't regret it! My son started on the LEGO City Coast Guard Helicopter and Life Raft and loved it. I couldn't get him to put it down for a week. I've built other LEGO Helicopters and this one seems much larger than the others. The helicopter's propeller and rotor really spins, you can open the sides of the helicopter to access the stretcher and equipment. If you push the button on the side, it will lower the raft down. The Coast guard set includes helicopter, life raft, four mini figures and for your enjoyment, a shark. If you're really into the Coast guard or love the New LEGO City sets then you should take a look at the LEGO City Coast Guard Patrol Boat and Tower. The Patrol boat even looks like one of the Coast guard ships you see out on the ocean. I've heard that LEGO has put out a LEGO City Coast guard Platform or harbor to add to the set. I haven't seen any yet, but if I do, I will let you know.
If you're a big fan of Fire trucks then look no further. My youngest son just loves fire trucks, I do too when the sirens are off! I bought him the LEGO Fire station and he loves it. It came with the fire truck, a rescue truck and four firefighters. My son wants to be a fireman; he shows me how the mini figures slide down the pole in the LEGO fire station and says that's how he's going to do it. If you visit my web page you can see several different Fireman LEGO sets. I think you will enjoy some of them like the Fire Boat with 6 water cannon and rotating boom. You can also build the off road fire truck and boat too. LEGO Fireman sets are a great addition to the LEGO City. You can't have a city without a Fire Station.
