Instituto Valenciano de Arte Moderno:
Valencia Institute of Modern arts or IVAM is among the best research institutes of the world. This museum is famous for conducting many kinds of exhibitions along with some permanent collection to display. This institute also hosts and conducts many workshops, conferences; courses and it also publish the artistic works.
IVAM also has Sala de la Muralla; the famous Wall Room and Juli Gonzalez Centre which was inaugurated in 1989.
Colegios Arte Mayor de la Seda:
This higher Silk Art College is located in the centre of Vellutres District which is famous among the best characteristic areas of Valencia.
Silk industry was a major highlight of the Valencia city during the Middle Ages and at that time Silk workers Guild was established in Valencia. It was in 1479, when many bylaws of the Silk Worker Guild were made and approved through the City Council which was headed by King Ferdinand. After that approval Guild of Colegio del Arte Mayor de la Seda and Guild of Saint Jerome were established.
La Beneficencia Cultural Centre:
This cultural centre includes Museum of Prehistory, Parpallo Room, Museum of Ethnology and Bullfighting Museum. All these places contain a great variety of work to display related to each field.
Municipal Museums:
Municipal Museums include Blasco Ibanez House Museum, Museum of the City, Old Municipal History Museum and Benlliure House Museum.
Cathedral Diocesan Museum:
This museum has two big canvases of Saint Francis of Borja painted by Francisco de Goya in the 1799, while he was taking leave from family to attend the dying man.
You will also find many paintings of Rodrigo de Osona, Juan de Juanes, Vicente Masip, Yanez de la Almedina and many other artists in this museum and all these paintings belong to 15th and 16th centuries.
You will also find the biggest Processional Monstrance of the world which contains a great silver and gold work in this museum. This Monstrance has a height of six meters and is famous for the unique quality of work in the entire world.
